I’ve been asked to author a chapter in the 2nd Edition of ASAE’s Membership Essentials on private online communities, web delivery of benefits and social networking, and I’m looking for a few case studies to help supplement the chapter’s content. By way of background, this book is kind of a big deal. The 1st Edition (for which I co-authored a chapter) is one of just eight books on the recommended reading list compiled by ASAE’s CAE Commission to help candidates prepare for the CAE exam. It’s also one of ASAE’s best-selling books. Some of the association community’s leading authorities on membership topics, such as Sheri Jacobs (Avenue M), Wes Trochlil (Effective Database Management), and Tony Rossell (Marketing General) are participating in the development of the 2nd Edition. Raise your professional profile by contributing your case study In other words, if your case study is included in the book, it will be among the top content published by ASAE all year and will likely be read by thousands of association execs — a significant opportunity to raise your organization’s profile (and your own professional profile) in the field.
