Join me Mon, Jan 27 at 8am EST for #CMAD Google Hangout on internal communities

Monday, January 27 is Community Manager Appreciation Day and I’m jazzed to be participating in the 24 Hour Google Hangout that’s happening as part of its celebration.

I’ll be on-air starting at 8am EST with an international panel discussing the similarities and differences between internal (e.g. employee) and external (e.g. customer, member) communities in “External vs. Internal Community Management: Similarities, Contrasts and Chances.” In this session I’ll draw from my experiences running employee communities, including one for the University of Pennsylvania Health System, one of the top-rated hospital systems in the United States, and the nation’s oldest, started by founding father Benjamin Franklin.

Return to this post on Monday, January 27 at 8am EST to watch the Hangout live, or anytime after the event — it’ll be archived at the bottom of this page. Coincidentally, I’m speaking on this same topic at ASAE’s 2014 Finance, Human Resources & Business Operations conference, May 28-29, at the Washington DC Convention Center. Click here for all upcoming speaking engagements.
